I don't remember this but my parents told the following story about me when I was 6 or 7.
Once our family drove from the DC area all the way to Miami. About half way I kept asking them, "When are we getting to Yourami". They kept correcting me and saying, "It will take another... hours to get to Miami".
After a while they realized I just assumed that 'ami' was something our family owned. If I was talking about it, it would be "miami" but if they were talking about it, it was "theirami" or "yourami", etc.
I thought of this tonight because I was talking to someone who remember his own family's trips to Miami when he was young.

Martin's memories preceding the chronicles, i.e., before 1986. The reason for this blog is to capture old memories that come back to me at seemingly random times. Thus the entries will not be in chronological order. Also, the accuracy of this blog is less than the accuracy in the more contemporaneous blog http://weisschronicles.blogspot.com/
